The blood-pressure of a child

Hello all

As the regular readers will know who I am currently improving my health and am trying many things, including losing weight, so when a free health check service came into work, I jumped at the chance to have myself checked out.

I had already done this twice and the last time had seen me have some shocking results. Looking at the results on the right you'd be surprised to know I'm happy with those results, but I am. My results last time were shockingly bad.

My BMI last time was close on 40.
My body fat was over 30%.
My weight was well over 18 stone.

Put it this way, the only thing from that bit of paper and my last results are that I didn't get any taller during the last few months.

Now, you may be curious about the title of this blog and I would like to point you to my bloody pressure scores, 115 over 66, which falls into the category of having the blood pressure equivalent of a child. They say it's health and I'm literally just shy of the border to the "excellent rating", but it's a very odd thing to be told you've effectively got the blood pressure of a child, especially at the age of 27.

Don't get me wrong, I'm delighted to have a healthy heart, but it's still an odd thing to be told.
